Civilization is being attacked and eroded on so many fronts: medically (anti-bacterial resistant strains of super bugs is now a global problem, for just one example), socially (too numerous to mention), politically (looks like we're being ushered into WWIII - which will be nuclear), economically (again, just read Rice Farmer's latest for numerous examples), and especially environmentally, that it's LUDICROUS to think this set of living arrangements will continue for much longer than a few more years. It can't due to the convergence of all these factors. Stay tuned.

Here is some evidence to support the above statement.

Third Winter Storm in a Row Zeroes In on Minnesota, South Dakota
http://www.cnbc.com/2015/12/01/third-winter-storm-in-a-row-zeroes-in-on-minnesota-south-dakota.html

Winter hasn't officially begun yet, but try telling that to the folks in the middle of the United States.

The third heavy snowfall in less than two weeks was taking aim Tuesday at Minnesota and South Dakota, where some cities declared snow emergencies with several inches already on the ground and as much as foot more expected overnight.

Global Crisis: Goldman Sachs Says That Brazil Has Plunged Into ‘An Outright Depression’
http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/

Law enforcement took more stuff from people than burglars did last year
http://www.sott.net/article/307575-Law-enforcement-took-more-stuff-from-people-than-burglars-did-last-year

[uh, yeah folks, that's HERE in the U.S. - they also MURDERED more people tnan ever]

Nicaragua's Mombotombo volcano erupts for first time in 110 years; 4 explosions in an hour
http://www.sott.net/article/307587-Nicaraguas-Mombotombo-volcano-erupts-for-first-time-in-110-years-4-explosions-in-an-hour

Loud boom rattles residents in Schuylkill Haven, Pennyslvania
http://www.sott.net/article/307583-Loud-boom-rattles-residents-in-Schuylkill-Haven-Pennyslvania

Powerful explosion of Guatemala's Santiaguita volcano prompts air traffic precautions
http://www.sott.net/article/307582-Powerful-explosion-of-Guatemalas-Santiaguita-volcano-prompts-air-traffic-precautions

In the Tuesday afternoon radio show of Nature Bats Last, Gail Tverberg is interviewed and speaks about how economic conditions keep tooling along and then suddenly collapse because of the way civilization has organized itself and uses energy (not to mention the "just in time" model of doing business - which destroys resilience); after the interview Guy McPherson corroborates Jonny Mnemonic's theory by quoting a scientific paper that shows smaller bodies of water are now spewing methane.
