Great to hear from you! Like you and J...Hey Fran! Great to hear from you! Like you and Jonny, I wonder about this stuff too, but on the level of how quickly is it accelerating, when will the authorities come around to getting a clue about all these "medical events" (happening to their own police, fire and EMT units, if nothing else), how do they explain all the home explosions (hint: they're not all "meth labs") and the multiple people dropping dead all over the place?

That's just tip of the melting iceberg. I really wonder about stuff right here at home (like you two, obviously) - like this:

at the beginning of the summer, my neighbor had a large branch come down (maybe 10" diam.) - took a guy all day with a chain saw and loppers to clean it up. It wasn't during a storm, overloaded with nuts or anything, it just crashed to the ground. Over the last month I've had the same problem with a large oak, full of nuts! Giant effin' branch came down and took out 1/2 of my pear tree (i'll probably have to cut it down). A smaller branch below this one broke off and was just hanging there until 2 days ago. I'm still cleaning up, but mostly because of the rain. The branch looks "desiccated" to some extent, not moist cellulose, but kind of dry . . [A friend who does tree work for a living said it was probably overloaded with nuts, but i'm not sure - that may have contributed to it, but I think there's something else going on.

Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02819564675299071481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-74202542893034467572017-09-07T10:16:29.368-05:002017-09-07T10:16:29.368-05:00Yeah, hydrogen sulfide can cause exactly that: ...Yeah, hydrogen sulfide can cause exactly that: 'cardiac issues'. And since it dissolves quickly in the human body, coroner sees 'cardiac issues', a corpse, and nothing suspicious, then that's what he or she calls the cause of death.

There was a lady who got gassed to death by hydrogen sulfide in her home, in Kansas City I think it was, and the coroner must've done the autopsy fast, because he DID discover that it was hydrogen sulfide that had killed her, and he commented something like, 'You know, this could be happening a lot more than we think and nobody would even know.' Well, not only COULD it be happening a lot more than people think, it IS happening a lot more than people think. Thus the 'spike in dying' in Britain and the rise in mortality in the United States, and I'm sure other countries are seeing the same thing, even if it hasn't been published in the news.

So yeah, every time I hear an ambulance, I wonder. Every time a house goes up for sale and I don't know what happened to the previous occupant, I wonder. I don't even look at the obituaries because I know if I did, I'd wonder. Heh.Jonny Mnemonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06516458612879773986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-22406808414239584482017-09-07T10:01:21.456-05:002017-09-07T10:01:21.456-05:00Well good morning Jonny and Tom! I am so thankful...Well good morning Jonny and Tom! I am so thankful for this blog and the updates you both make to it daily, it's my number one place for all the news cataloging our planets demise. I trust no one else! Here in NE Oklahoma, our weather has turned incredibly wonderful, no humidity and temps in the mid 80's during the day and low in the 50's at night, love it! Anyway, I just wanted to let you both know I was still out here reading your blog and that I am very thankful to you both for the time and effort you put into it.
I listened to Dr. McPhereson's NBL 9/5/17 episode last night {http://prn.fm/nature-bats-last-09-05-17/} and was glad to see him still at it. I wished they had gone more into what is happening on the west coast but it was good to hear he hadn't given completely up on his mission.
Have you ever wondered about the obituaries that just might be JJFH? I have. I take care of people in their homes all around this lake and I have lost 2 recently that I would have called JJFH events but the coroner listed as cardiac issues. One fella lived in a cove where the water in one of the communities ponds was super bright green for the whole month of July, he also spent a great deal of time in his basement. Both cases lived within spittin distance to the lake...........So I think about that a great deal.

Well, that's all I got for today, hope my comment doesn't get deleted[last one did] and I'll try to comment more Tom. :-) stay safe out there.....~Fran~F~https://www.blogger.com/profile/14093179509642684214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-3381552849192622017-09-07T08:20:48.042-05:002017-09-07T08:20:48.042-05:00Image of the Day: Smoke from BC wildfires obscures...Image of the Day: Smoke from BC wildfires obscures the sun in Vancouver, 5 September 2017
http://www.desdemonadespair.net/2017/09/image-of-day-smoke-from-bc-wildfires.html

Denying Hurricane Harvey’s climate links only worsens future suffering – “Three options remain for dealing with the crisis: mitigate, adapt, and suffer”
http://www.desdemonadespair.net/2017/09/denying-hurricane-harveys-climate-links.html

Human-caused climate change amplified the damages and suffering associated with Hurricane Harvey in several different ways. First, sea level rise caused by global warming increased the storm surge and therefore the coastal inundation and flooding from the storm. Second, the warmer atmosphere holds more water vapor, which intensifies extreme precipitation events like the record-shattering rainfall associated with Harvey. Third, warmer ocean waters essentially act as hurricane fuel, which may have made Harvey more intense than it would otherwise have been.
There are other possible human factors at play about which we have less certainty. For example, it’s possible that Harvey stalled off the coast of Texas because of changes in atmospheric circulation patterns associated with human-caused global warming. As climate scientist Michael Mann notes, his research has shown that these sorts of stationary summer weather patterns tend to happen more often in a hotter world, but we can’t yet say if that happened in Harvey’s case.

Other human activities also worsened Harvey’s impacts. For example, Houston suffers from urban sprawl, covering a larger area (nearly 600 square miles) than the cities of Chicago, San Francisco, Washington DC, Boston, Manhattan, and Santa Barbara combined. With urban sprawl and poor planning came expansive impervious surfaces – absorbent soil covered instead by concrete and asphalt, increasing flood risks. Houston’s lack of zoning laws combined with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) also encouraged development in flood prone areas.
