I'm not sure it's not fairly normal. Each minute around the world, around 105 people die, or close to two per second. Some of them are surely getting vaccinations when they die, since mostly older people are being prioritized. If NOBODY died in the minutes after vaccination THAT would be incredibly strange.

But assume the vaccines aren't perfect and that they've killed, say, 1000 people or so. They're still preventing more deaths than they're causing, for a net positive.

There were people who protested the smallpox vaccine too, even when it was killing millions of people every year (2 million in one year as recently as 1967, between 300 and 500 million dead in the 20th century). Now it kills two or three dozen per year, so the smallpox vaccine is preventing more than 99.99% of the smallpox deaths that would be occurring sans the vaccine.

How about the rabies vaccine? In 130 years only two people have survived rabies without the vaccine. Would any sane person refuse the rabies vaccine after being bitten by a rabid animal? When there's a 99.9999% chance they die if they don't get the vaccine and a 99.99% chance they live if they do? Obviously not. People who refuse the rabies vaccine die, and it's not a pleasant death.

Should parents be forced to vaccinate their children if they get bitten by a rabid animal? Or should parents have the freedom to kill their children with near 100% certainty by denying them the vaccine?

It's not all black and white here. Anyone who thinks vaccines are bad and wants me to take them seriously needs to first get bitten by a rabid animal and then refuse the vaccine. Then we can talk about it in 100 days. If they're the 3rd person in 130 years to survive rabies without the vaccine.
Jonny Mnemonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06516458612879773986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-64859818228545907672021-04-11T13:56:48.158-05:002021-04-11T13:56:48.158-05:00[in case anyone hasn't noticed, violence and g...[in case anyone hasn't noticed, violence and gun situations are increasing dramatically; we're killing each other off (sometimes it's a mother or father killing her/his kids and or family)!
