Could be 'the authorities' are lobbing projectiles at clouds of gas from orbit, over low-population areas and oceans, to purposely ignite clouds of gas and burn them off before they reach populated areas. That'd be something I'd try if I were in charge. Worth a shot anyway, maybe buy some time.Jonny Mnemonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06516458612879773986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-79303993139500465642016-01-26T18:39:36.351-06:002016-01-26T18:39:36.351-06:00Or a meteor!

I gave that some consideration - there have been a lot of meteors, after all. But when you consider just how tiny the surface area of the planet is that planes take up, if that many aircraft were taken out by meteors then they'd have to be falling all over the place, constantly, by the thousands or millions, and people would have noticed that. But we already KNOW that vast amounts of explosive methane and hydrogen sulfide are entering the atmosphere, and that's invisible...until it's ignited by, say, a passing vehicle's engine.Jonny Mnemonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06516458612879773986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-76398424659520635792016-01-26T10:51:12.412-06:002016-01-26T10:51:12.412-06:00[illustrating another of SOTT's not-well-thoug...[illustrating another of SOTT's not-well-thought-out theories]

Eyewitness descriptions suggest 12 missing Marines aboard 2 downed helicopters off Hawaii were taken out by meteor explosion
http://www.sott.net/article/310979-Eyewitness-descriptions-suggest-12-missing-Marines-aboard-2-downed-helicopters-off-Hawaii-were-taken-out-by-meteor-explosion

Authorities said they did not get a distress call from either helicopter. Witnesses said the collision produced a fireball that lit up the night sky.

"It was like daytime," said Chase Tantog, 21, who was fishing at Chun's Reef when he saw what he thought was a meteor falling from the sky. "It was just a big fireball coming down," he said. "There was debris, too, on the side, like coming off. Once it hit the water, it just blacked out and then you hear the thunder roar after. It was really loud."

Witnesses recount collision

Residents up and down the North Shore saw -- or heard -- the collision Thursday night. Don Williams said the collision produced "two big booms. It shook the house," he said.
