Event Update For 2021-02-18

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

The Temporary Collapse Of Texas Is Foreshadowing The Total Collapse Of The United States
    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/the-temporary-collapse-of-texas-is-foreshadowing-the-total-collapse-of-the-united-states/

We are getting a very short preview of what will eventually happen to the United States as a whole. America’s infrastructure is aging and crumbling. Our power grids were never intended to support so many people, our water systems are a complete joke, and it has become utterly apparent that we would be completely lost if a major long-term national emergency ever struck. Texas has immense wealth and vast energy resources, but now it is being called a “failed state”. If it can’t even handle a few days of cold weather, what is the rest of America going to look like when things really start to get chaotic in this country?

At this point, it has become clear that the power grid in Texas is in far worse shape than anyone ever imagined. When extremely cold weather hit the state, demand for energy surged dramatically. At the same time, about half of the wind turbines that Texas relies upon froze, and the rest of the system simply could not handle the massive increase in demand.

Millions of Texans were without power for days, and hundreds of thousands are still without power as I write this article.

In Texas, the cold weather literally caused thousands of pipes to burst. The damage caused by all of these ruined pipes is going to be in the billions of dollars. [more]

If You Believe Life Will “Return To Normal”, You Have A Fundamental Misunderstanding Of The Times In Which We Live
    https://endoftheamericandream.com/if-you-believe-life-will-return-to-normal-you-have-a-fundamental-misunderstanding-of-the-times-in-which-we-live/

Despite all of the craziness that is going on out there, many pundits are trying to convince us that life will soon “return to normal” and that great days are just around the corner. They are telling us this despite the fact that the state of Texas has been in a state of collapse this week, the real economy continues to implode, the unemployment numbers are going up, civil unrest continues to rage in our streets on a nightly basis, and our entire planet continues to become even more unstable. Those that believe that happy days are here again have a fundamental misunderstanding of the times in which we live. This isn’t a period of time when America is going to “build back better”. Rather, this is a time when America is going to go even deeper into “the perfect storm”.

A Giant Flaw in Texas Blackouts: It Cut Power to Gas Supplies
    https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/giant-flaw-texas-blackouts-cut-005229826.html

When the Texas power grid was on the brink of collapse and its operator plunged thousands into darkness, it didn’t make an exception for the oil and gas field.

Power was, unsurprisingly, diverted to hospitals and nursing homes. Ercot, as the grid manager is known, was staving off utter catastrophe, its chief executive later said.

But leaving shale fields like the Permian Basin dark had an unintended consequence. Producers who depend on electricity to power their operations were left with no way to pump natural gas. And that gas was needed more than ever to generate electricity.

As one executive described: It was like a death spiral.

Several energy companies say that, while frozen infrastructure and equipment malfunctions caused gas volumes to plummet, a lack of power also had a profound impact on supply. It’s a phenomenon that highlights just how interconnected -- and interdependent -- Texas’s energy network is. [more; as we all are]

Kerry says [lies] Earth has 9 years to avert worst consequences of climate crisis
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/kerry-says-earth-9-years-155600454.html

"I think it's a very appropriate way to think of it, so it is directly related to the warming, even though your instinct is to say, wait a minute, this is the new Ice Age. But it's not," Kerry said. "It is coming from the global warming and it threatens all the normal weather patterns."

That warming is believed to make storms stronger, droughts drier and oceans higher. That means certain places on Earth where people currently live will become unlivable. In fact, it is already happening.

Kerry said we have only a few years left to avoid a climate catastrophe.

"Well, the scientists told us three years ago we had 12 years to avert the worst consequences of climate crisis. We are now three years gone, so we have nine years left," he said. [more; yeah, right? It's more like we HAD over a 109 years to change our ways since the scientific community KNEW way back in the late 1800s that greenhouse gases increase the temperature of the planet; specifically, BIG OIL knew since the 1970s!]

A shark has been caught on camera tangled in a rope ‘noose’ that had wrapped around its body, cutting into the flesh around its gills in an image showcasing the impact ocean pollution can have on marine life.

One image shows how the circle of rope has cut deep lacerations into the animal’s back.

In another, the thick rope appears to have burrowed under the shark’s skin, pushing the joint of its right fin away from its body. [more; see sickening pic; "The story has a happy ending. A few weeks later, the shark was spotted with the rope off.]

  4. Texas agriculture commissioner issues RED ALERT warning on food supply chain
    https://strangesounds.org/2021/02/texas-agriculture-warning-food-chain-collapse-video.html

Texas’ Agriculture Commissioner has issued a RED ALERT over the food processing chain as the power grid is down and our food supply is grinding to a halt.

Livestock producers are now unable to provide water to their animals, and farmers cannot deliver to grain elevators that are shut down.

“In just one example, dairy operations are dumping $8 million worth of milk down the drains every day because the plants that process that milk don’t have power.

“Grocery stores are already unable to get shipments of dairy products. Store shelves are already empty. We’re looking at a food supply chain problem like we’ve never seen before, even with COVID-19.” [more]

Biden’s Insane Executive Order on Climate Change Gave China Access to the US Grid – Suddenly There’s an Energy Crisis In Texas – Any Relationship?
    https://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2021/02/bidens-executive-order-gave-china.html

This was just a small little paragraph tucked away in one of Biden’s EO’s the first day he was in office under the umbrella of “restoring science to tackle the climate crisis”. Of course, science and climate crisis are polar opposites. Looking over the EO, there appears to be nothing that benefits the United States of America which begs the question, who wrote and approved this mess?

Biden ended President Trump’s EO protecting the US power grid from China

Suddenly this past week we have an energy crisis in Texas. Is there any relationship between Biden’s EO and this? We’ll never know. [more]
