Event Update For 2019-01-09

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Hey Jonny, everyone. i'm back online ON MY COMPUTER, woo-hoo!
Yeah, i'm BROKE and i have no sound yet, but i can now finish the stat analysis in a few days. Not that it'll matter.

Mike D. hittin' 'em outta da park yesterday - great job! You could be an investigative journalist.

The only problem with regulating marijuana like alcohol is that no one would be allowed to grow their own, unless it's specifically put into the bill (which i haven't read).

In CA, where i was recently, "cold" is anything lower than 60F (about the temp i keep our house at night). It's 26 here right now with 17 mph winds.

    The 1929 Crash. Revisited.
    http://ponziworld.blogspot.com/2019/01/the-1929-crash-revisited.html

What we learn from history is that an Idiocracy doesn't learn from history. So far, this crash is uncannily similar to 1929/1930s

The U.S. stock market made a blow-off top in September 1929 following Herbert Hoover's election in 1928, capping off a decade-long run. The market crashed in October 1929, but began to recover into 1930. Then came the Smoot-Hawley tariffs which attended global recession leading to global depression and a -90% decline in stocks.

The rally off the 1929 lows was the greatest sucker rally in history. Until now.

This is the new Wall Street groupthink consensus:
The "correction" is over, and a new bull market has begun. Which is exactly what bulls believed in 1930 just prior to the real crash. [more; ~ 6 months out]

    [6] Lessons (Not) Learned. Yet.
    http://ponziworld.blogspot.com/2019/01/lessons-not-learned.html
[each of these has more content/explanation]
First off, the most abiding erroneous belief is that what is good for the stock market is good for the economy.

Secondly, from a pure gambling perspective, the only lesson to learn is don't fight the Fed. Global central banks control risk assets, full stop. That is a decades-old axiom never more true than in the past decade as central banks controlled assets on the way up and now on the way down.

The third lesson is related to the second lesson - which is that there is no such thing as "free money".

Fourth lesson - and what should have been learned in 2008 - is that you can't trust Wall Street. Shocking, I know.

The fifth lesson not yet learned is that economists can't predict the future, however they can extrapolate the past.

The sixth lesson not learned is that Globalization already failed. In 2008. [more to the article]

This kind of collapsed society can go on for years, maybe decades, but it is in a state of collapse nonetheless, as it has reached all the 5 Stages of Collapse as defined by Dmitry Orlov in his seminal book "The Five Stages of Collapse: Survivors' Toolkit" where he mentions the following 5 stages of collapse:

Stage 1: Financial collapse. Faith in "business as usual" is lost.
Stage 2: Commercial collapse. Faith that "the market shall provide" is lost.
Stage 3: Political collapse. Faith that "the government will take care of you" is lost.
Stage 4: Social collapse. Faith that "your people will take care of you" is lost.
Stage 5: Cultural collapse. Faith in "the goodness of humanity" is lost. [more]

Why we must stop the 5G wireless network
    https://www.sott.net/article/404655-Why-we-must-stop-the-5G-wireless-network

The planned density to achieve global 5G of radio frequency transmitters is unfathomable. In addition to millions of new 5G base stations on Earth and 20,000 new satellites in space, an estimated 200 billion "transmitting objects", will be part of the Internet of "things" by 2020, and one trillion further "things" a few years later.

Despite widespread denial, the evidence that radio frequency (RF) radiation is harmful to life is already overwhelming. The accumulated clinical evidence of sick and injured human beings, experimental evidence of damage to DNA, cells and organ systems in a wide variety of plants and animals, and epidemiological evidence that the major diseases of modern civilisation; cancer, heart disease and diabetes are in large part caused by electromagnetic pollution, forms a literature base of well over 10,000 peer reviewed studies.

If 5G is implemented, no person, no animal, no bird, no insect and no plant on Earth will be able to avoid exposure, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to levels of RF radiation that are tens to hundreds of times greater than what exists today, without any possibility of escape anywhere on the planet. Scientists and doctors warn of potential serious health effects of 5G

We the undersigned scientists and doctors recommend a moratorium on the roll-out of the fifth generation, 5G, for telecommunication until potential hazards for human health and the environment have been fully investigated by scientists independent from industry. 5G will substantially increase exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) on top of the 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, etc. for telecommunications already in place. RF-EMF has been proven to be harmful for humans and the environment. [more]

  8. Getting' some serious snow here right now, maybe 6" so far, and more coming down. This is the biggest snowfall in this area in years. (Used to be more common than that, but now it's rare.) Schools closing, cars crashing, yada yada. It's probably good for the trees in the area though, so I'm not gonna complain. Not gonna go driving in it either. Heh.
