Heh, I have at least a little faith in the Wayback Machine, and it documented some guy bragging about shooting down a transport plane at the same time as that civilian plane came down, and then that same guy erased his post, but the Wayback Machine had snagged it already, soooo...they did screw up and they shot down a civilian plane. They didn't even sound all that apologetic about the loss of 295 innocent lives either!

See, I'm reasonable. I just don't like jumping to conclusions. I'll go where the evidence points, but I like to at least see some evidence first before I head off in any particular direction, and sometimes it takes a little while for the facts to show up and filter through all the politicized ranting and yelling.

Malaysia might wanna NOT send their planes over these uncaring schmucks.Jonny Mnemonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06516458612879773986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-40545018725290975722014-07-17T17:53:31.939-05:002014-07-17T17:53:31.939-05:00Well...still haven't seen any evidence that pl...Well...still haven't seen any evidence that plane was shot down. People are saying it was, but people say a lot of things, for a lot of reasons. What can I say, I'm from the Show Me State. And it can't be too easy to shoot down a plane 5 or 6 miles in the sky moving at 550 MPH. Is it possible it was shot down? Sure. Has anyone produced any evidence? Haven't seen any yet. Heh, could be they'll be purposely routing passenger planes through areas with conflict so that if a plane does blow up spontaneously then there will be a plausible cover story handy. In any case, that's now two passenger planes wiped out in a short period of time. Let's see how many more go missing or crash.

And yeah, I'm all for treating children with compassion, but they really do need to be careful. Ebola and pneumonic plague and all the HXNX viruses spreading around are scary. One person with a hacking cough and pneumonic plague slipping though and we could be in deep doodoo real fast.Jonny Mnemonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06516458612879773986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-85547063592671303592014-07-17T17:39:41.928-05:002014-07-17T17:39:41.928-05:00Yeah - and it's ANOTHER MALAYSIAN airliner! From what I heard, though the pilot was not at fault for being above (by about 1000') the no-fly zone's inclusion altitude and the mistake was on the itchy trigger fingers of the amped-up military people/separatists, but the pilot probably should have gone around and not chanced it.

On another note - check this out (listen to the video):

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2014/07/exclusive-feds-struggling-to-cope-with-medical-breakdown-at-the-border/

Exclusive: Feds Struggling to Cope With Medical ‘Breakdown’ at the Border

[quote]

Two unaccompanied children were flown from Nogales to California despite having 101-degree fevers and flu-like symptoms, according to the Department of Defense memo. I'm sure everyone will blame it on the fighting there, but I'm not going to unless there's evidence that that's the case. There's no reason for the atmosphere over Ukraine or Russia to be safer than anyplace else. And then there was that helicopter that just exploded mid-air in Cambodia, mentioned in the 2014-07-13 update. No reason a passenger jet couldn't ignite and/or explode similarly. We'll see how they play this story.Jonny Mnemonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06516458612879773986noreply@blogger.com
